Lelit Elizabeth

6 mm supply-side plumbing replacement

A practical replacement path when the original Bean Pounder tee is unavailable.

Any fitting or seal can eventually develop a leak after enough heat cycles, pressure changes, and age. The tee used in the Elizabeth kit is fairly uncommon to find off the shelf and is generally sold only in bulk. If I cannot provide a direct replacement, the parts below are an easier-to-source alternative.

The Elizabeth uses uncommon 5 mm tubing in this section. Instead of trying to adapt one failed fitting, replace the entire supply side with more common 6 mm tubing—from the pump tee to both the boiler and the OPV connection. This conversion also saves money over time because standard 6 mm tubing and fittings are easy to buy off the shelf, while Lelit-specific 5 mm parts are harder to source and generally more expensive.

Replacement fittings

The first two fittings convert the supply side to 6 mm tubing. Use the PLF6-02 if the pressure-transducer elbow also needs replacement.

A 6 mm push-in tube connection with a 1/4-inch female threaded elbow. This is the replacement fitting that threads onto the pressure transducer.

Before replacing plumbing

Unplug the machine, let it cool completely, and release all pressure before opening it or disconnecting any plumbing.

Use 6 mm tubing that is suitable for potable water and rated for the temperature and pressure at this location. Confirm every fitting is fully seated, then leak-test the cold and hot system before returning the machine to service.
